After catching M401 in Bagley, I hopped back onto I-95 and decided to chase them south back towards my hotel in Fayetteville. I chased them to this crossing just south of Four Oaks, where I was thankfully able to beat them with at least 10 minutes to spare. Here we see CSX M401 for the second time on this evening.

This crossing is another great one, featuring another pair of fairly original late-70s SCL WCH signals. It appears that in the 80s, the left-hand lights on the far signal and the front-left light on the closer signal were replaced with the current, slightly newer WCH lights. Then, presumably sometime between 2016 and 2018, CSX upgraded this crossing to LED. Thankfully, since then, no further changes appear to have occurred to this crossing. Both 1st Gen WCH mechanical bells here still sound nice and healthy, which is great to see. Hopefully CSX leaves this crossing largely unchanged for many more years to come, but, either way, I'm glad I was able to film this crossing as well.
They/Them for me, please.
