Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
This crossing is a very nice crossing, and one I'm quite glad I was able to record with Chuttlely. This crossing is a mid-1990s NS install that, outside of the ENS signs and gate striping, hasn't changed one bit since it was installed! Both Safetran mechanical bells here still sound very healthy, which is quite nice, so hopefully they'll be around for quite a long time.
They/Them for me, please.

After we got 154, DeloreandudeTommy and I snagged a few more pictures around the Amtrak station there in Annison before we went our separate ways, with Tommy hitting the road back home while I raced west towards Leeds to get the northbound Crescent. Thankfully, I was able to beat it here with plenty of time to spare, and here we get to see my fifth and final train of the day: Amtrak 20 with a pair of P42DCs for power and a friendly crew aboard! After the train passes, you can hear the defect detector just to my east here in Leeds on the NS East End District reading-out for it.
Thankfully, this crossing has remained almost entirely unchanged since I last recorded it back in 2019 with TheCentralTexasRailfan. In fact, the only change that I did see is that the far signal now uses a set of RECO LED gate lights on it. Thankfully, both Safetran mechanical bells here still work and sound rather healthy, which I'm rather glad to see. Hopefully they'll still be here for a good while longer, but I'm definitely glad I got another recording of them in action.
