*originally recorded on 2-5-22*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.

After catching A54 in Attalla, I let it go as I began documenting the crossings on the AGS North north of Attalla. While around Collinsville, A54 finished-up their work in Fort Payne and started their way back down to Attalla, so I shot them once more on the return trip at this crossing.

This crossing's a pretty nice one, IMHO, despite the signals not being too interesting. The crossing is on a rather small gravel road, so the signals have rather short gate arms on them, which I quite like the look of.
The signals at this crossing are pretty typical for this line though, having been installed alongside most of the others back in the early 2000s, and basically haven't changed since. If you look closely, you can see that both gate arms are still the original ones as well, but got restriped by NS at some point, with a little bit of the diagonal striping peeking-out towards the gate mech end of the arms. One of the light bulbs on the closer signal was also out here at the time.
They/Them for me, please.
