Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.

This crossing is an almost pure 1980s set-up, which was rather neat to see. It also has the bell ring when the gates rise.
They/Them for me, please.

except the gate lines are straight and not slanted :LOL3: kinda interesting to see that the gate lights are also incandescent still as well

wonderful sounding crossing! whoever maintains that crossing does a really good job since those bells sound like they were installed yesterday

That's why I said "almost", lol! But yea, this is a really well maintained crossing, though a few of the backgrounds on the lights are starting to have noticeable fading on them.

I've noticed NS tends to use incandescent gate lights one gates that they replace, though they've also used LED gate lights as replacements before.
They/Them for me, please.

Thankfully no major changes here as of 6-14-21, and the Safetran mechanical bell still sounds quite healthy!

I almost wonder if they're made by the same company that'd made the crossbucks CSX used back in the early-2000s.
