*originally recorded on 3-14-25*
Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, NEG LED gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.
After catching 29S in Iron City, I continued on west over to this crossing in Lincoln's tiny little downtown to wait for either 29S or Amtrak, whichever came first. After a bit of waiting, I was able to get my sixth train of the day: Amtrak 20 flying through downtown Lincoln with a pair of P24DCs for power!
This crossing is another nice one, featuring an almost fully-original 2000s NS install at it. At some point within the past five years or so, NS replaced the gate lights here with the current LED ones, but, otherwise, nothing too major has changed to this crossing since it was installed. The bells here have gotten rather nicely weathered, with them having become almost completely white over the past few years.
