*originally recorded on 6-4-25*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.

After catching Amtrak 19 at CR 42, I knew that the two Crescents would be meeting down at the passing siding in Eutaw, so we decided to go south a bit to another crossing to catch 20. We were actually on our way to a different crossing when we saw this one, and decided we'd rather stop and film this guy instead. After a bit of waiting, vtgrxrman and I were able to catch our second train of the day: Amtrak 20 flying north towards Tuscaloosa with an ALC-42 leading a P42DC for power.
You can also hear the defect detector just south of this crossing reading-out for the train before and after it flies by.

This crossing is another nice one, even if it's fairly modern. Per the FRA's inventory reports for this crossing, the signals here were installed (or at least activated) by NS back in January of 2014, literally sometime between January 1st and January 3rd of that year if the inventory reports are to be believed, meaning these signals were likely installed in late-2013 at the soonest, if I had to guess, replacing a pair of crossbucks. Since they were installed, nothing too major seems to have changed to them, thankfully, aside from the gate lights on at least the far signal here being replaced at some point, which is nice to see. Admittedly, you don't exactly see Invensys Rail gate mechs too often, so I'm glad I was able to get another pair of them recorded. Also, in a bit of an amusing testament to the "quality" of NEG LED gate lights, only one gate light on the far signal here was working at the time of this video...
