*originally recorded on 6-4-25*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.

After catching Amtrak 20 in Stewart, vtgrxrman and I continued on down to this crossing in Eutaw to see if anything else would be coming through before we had to head back to Livingston. After about an hour of waiting, we were finally able to get our third and final train of the day: a northbound NS mixed freight with an AC44C6M leading an SD70ACe for power on the head-end. After this, we'd try again to catch the siren test in Livingston (somewhat successfully) before heading on home to Huntsville for the evening. Admittedly, this train nearly snuck-up on us, though thankfully I just barely had enough time to get my tripod thrown down before the signals activated.

This crossing's another pretty decent one, featuring a pair of gated signals that I believe were installed by NS back in the early-2000s. It appears that these signals have remained largely unchanged since then, thankfully. Admittedly, I was kinda hoping that the closer signal would've had a GS Type 1, due to having a single-sided base, but sadly that wasn't the case. It seems these may have been installed around the time NS was switching from single-sided bases to the double-sided ones, as the far signal (strangely enough) features a double-sided base on it.
