Major sensor issues

Post by SirKrunch »

Yeah, this is what can happen with signals on a line that may see one or two train movements a year.
The traffic got treated to quite the sh :redx: t show as far the gates going up and down over and over.
Hey, is this one of our regulars to the site that posted this on YT?

I've actually witnessed a malfunction like that before a few years ago in Pleasant Hill at 1st St when an empty coal train with UP 1983 leading was merging onto the Sedalia Sub from the MNA line. Line itself usually sees around 4-6 trains including the coal trains that have trackage rights plus the Mon-Fri MNA local that runs to and from KC. I want to say this was caused by a bad circuit detection at the time of the video.
Proud owner of 7 mechanical bells along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.
