*originally recorded on 3-18-26*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, RECO gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.

After catching A95 in Chewalla, vtgrxrman and I raced on back over to this crossing to catch 101 again. After a bit of waiting, we were able to see NS 101 for the second time on this day, crawling through this crossing at first for some reason, but then speeding-up as they passed through it.

This crossing is a pretty decent one, and is, IMHO, massively helped by its nicely rural location and the sharp angle the tracks cross the road at. The signals here were installed by NS back in the mid-1990s and are thankfully still mostly original. At some point between about 2015 and when I first visited this crossing back in 2019, NS replaced the bell here with the current GS Type 3 e-bell. Thankfully, nothing else too major appears to have changed here, though the incandescent gate lights here have seemingly gotten piecemeal replacements with LED ones over the years. The far signal only has one RECO LED so far, it appears, though I suspect it'll be getting a second before too long as the tip gate light has gone dead. Thankfully, the Safetran 12x20 inch lights here are all still incandescent, which is nice to see.
