Sadly, as you can see here, the gate arms have since been replaced, however, they left the GRS gate mechanisms here!

This was the fourth crossing I chased the TVRM's excursion to, in the first video. As it was raining here, I had set-up an umbrella on my tripod. Unfortunately, just before the crossing activated, a gust of wind came through and tried to blow over my camera, which was a bit annoying. The video came-out pretty well otherwise though.
After seeing the photo run-by in Rock Spring, I went on north to Chickamauga to find a bathroom while the train backed down to the crossing there and had the passengers reboard the train. When I got here, I soon heard the train approaching from the south, so I quickly got set-up. After a bit of waiting, I was able to get my fourteenth crossing video of the day (and my second video of this crossing on this day), with this being the last crossing I shot on the CCKY's line on this day.

As you can see, since I last filmed this crossing back in 2016, the CCKY went through and upgraded this crossing to LED as part of the general replacement of almost all of the 8 inch lights along their line, which I believe occurred back in 2017. Thankfully, the late-GRS gate mechs and original Safetran mechanical bell are still here and still in service, and hopefully they will continue to be for many more years to come.

After catching the SOU 5000 in Rossville, I continued on south to get this crossing next. Here we see this classic high-hood EMD pulling the Summerville "Steam" Special heading south through another classic SOU install.

Since I last recorded this crossing in 2023, the CCKY replaced all of the gate lights on the far signal with newer NEG LEDs. Thankfully, the older NEG LED gate lights on the closer signal here still remain though. I'm especially glad to see that this late-SOU install still retains its original bell and GRS Type D gate mechas as well!
