Check out these oldies in Grand Rapids, Ohio... Not all that far from the end of the track (to the SW)... though you will find a Steam Engine there... and just when the track looks at its worst right at the end, it looks as though they laid some new track... as for the reason, I'm unsure.

If you follow the track to the NE... the condition in places looks almost impassable, and yet, here is a brand new install of lights, gates, e-bells, and SORS signs (that some whack job installed between the crossbuck and the light heads.

Continue to follow the line to Waterville, OH, and you find a Red Board

And yet, if you go to the next crossing after that, the grade is in great shape and weed free... and looking like another railroad is operating the tracks.

The bridge is the reason the line to Grand Rapids is out of service, and their steam locomotive and some other equipment is stuck there. Not sure about the red board on the north side of Waterville.

Sorry to tell you this Krunch, but that was LAST Sunday! You also missed Foop the clown's performance as well, but there are pictures on their website.

(Notice the train has oscillating fans installed on the walls... kind of interesting)

Well, I hope for them it helps out in raising some money to pay to fix up the line. Shortlines barely eek by sometimes. Especially if the tourist train is the only revenue they have right now. Even the scenic-valley train in Boone has freight customers they deliver to for making money also.
