A turbo fire damaged a BNSF H1 unit, but the paint shop had no more H1 decals.

So, they used a pair of H2 decals and redid the stripes above & below them.

Add in the fact that the unit, BNSF 1050, already had a warbonnet painted AC panel, and you've got one odd looking locomotive!

i actually think that looks kinda cool.

Ive seen pictures of that locomotive, hasent it been like that for a while.

The turbo fire happened in the the spring of 2006.

Talk about "patch work!" Swap the AC panel with the one behind it in the first photo.
