Gas Prices

Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

I decided to post this photo here... although it does have a pretty cool crossing signal in it, I was more intrigued by the gas prices posted at the gas station next to the crossing.

1986 was the year I got my license, and I remember very well filling up my 1977 Mercury Cougar's 20 gallon gas tank for less than $20 bucks. At today's prices it would be more like $50.

$2.85 near my house. $2.75-ish elsewhere.
You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

Down to $2.47 here, but Fry's has started something to where for a limited time, the 10 cent discount is doubled to 20 cents off, making the cost with discounts down to $2.27.
