More 8" Signals Fallen

Post by AndrewFields »

I drove out to Milwaukie a few nights ago. It's the first time I've been down there in almost two years so I was expecting some changes. I was right...

37th Avenue - UP has finally updated this remaining 8" signal with a 12" LED signal with an electronic bell. It was dark and raining when I went out there so I couldn't tell if they were 12x20" or 12x24".

Oak Street - Bad news...the Griswold lights at this crossing are gone as are the triangle gates. :Cry1: They've been replaced with 12x20" LEDs and standard US&S gate mechanisms with WCH E-bells. :Awww:

I know I haven't been updating the Oregon pages much and for that I apologize. I'll try to get some pictures together before the year ends.
You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

On the 37th Avenue crossing, is that one triangle gate gone too?
