State-of-the art rail crossing barricades tested in Michigan
To be completely honest I don't like this idea. It seems like there would be huge problems especially with mechanical failures due to the weather, mainly snow and ice.

I remember this from the old forum. I don't like the idea either. The crossing is fine as it is.

that would be a a good idea if it could work properly every time, but for now it is just a waste of time and effort.
