The Worst sounding GS e-bell EVER!

Post by Smjh1979 »

This one takes the cake for the worst sounding GS bell ever. The bell in question is a GS type 1.

Go to 0:50 to hear the bell "warble".

Credit goes to TrainmanKight for finding this.

Reminds me of an old Atari game starting up, one with a sci-fi theme.

Orly :Tongue2:[/quote]
NOTE THE GATE IS WRONG
maintainer probable didn't use the correct screw drivers and screwed up the bell
and thats just a handful of wch that do that
99% of gs type 1 bells when they get damp will start sounding like shit

Odd...

Also, I noticed that there are 4-quadrant gates at that crossing, and the exit ones wait until the enter ones have snubbed before moving.

yes
if the main gates dont hit their snubb points the exit gates wont lower
the reason for the quad gates is the crossings is a 24 hr quiet zone althou many csx and tri rail crews tap the horn a few times anyway

That's not always the case, though.
