New Quit zone in Fresno, Ca

Post by bnsfc44 »

On the news today they stated that a quiet zone is going to be in effect beginning next week for downtown Fresno. This effects only BNSF's line from Ventura St to Olive Ave. They said that some trains are already silencing their horns. I maybe heading to Fresno in two weeks to see if there were any changes to the crossings.

From what I've found, the quiet zones spread to 7 crossings.

I haven't found an exact date yet. If anyone can dig up a date, please let me know so that I can mark the pages as quiet zones?

The Bakersfield quiet zone went into effect a little while back. The crossings at Beale and 21st & Gage have been removed as well.
