Tom's 4 speed manual transmission

Tom has a 4 speed transmission at the beginning.

Instead of moving to MGM, Chuck Jones (who directed this T&J toon) should have retired when Warner Brothers closed their animation shop. His best work by far was the classic Looney Tunes done at WB. To be fair, he did rescue Tom & Jerry from the Gene Deitch era productions that (if there is any justice) should never be seen again.

I wasn't a big fan of those kind of Tom & Jerry cartoons. When those come in, I change the channel.
