Even with 12"x24" frames, that signal setup is pretty good.

Lolz the name of that rd isn't Pownal Rd. Its Depot Rd. I am very familiar with THAT crossing as it was one of my favorites when i lived up there. It was also my first crossing I caught in action up there. That crossing features a loud WCH mechanical Bell and a barely clinging WRRS mini that freezes up in the winter, and a combination of WRRS and GRS 8" lights. I got 3 videos of this crossing in action with 3 awsome Horns, a K3L, a RS3L, and a RS5T.

A Night version with the K3L:

A older day version with a RS3L:

A Newer Day Version with a RS5T *Note this was suppose to be a 2 parter video, but since the train went a lot slower in the 2nd half I decided not to add it*:

Damn it! It appears the extra pair of GRS lights have been removed, and so has the mini bell. Of well. I knew it wouldn't last long. Looks liek my latest version of that crossing is the last time we see and hear the mini bell. May it rest in piece!

A town called Cullodin, WV:

Can't tell in this picture if the gates are going up or down. It appears the train has already passed (if you look to the left). But if you go backwards one frame the lights are just coming on and the gates are up. Maybe the signals were malfunctioning?

East St Louis, IL:

Eureka, MO:

Notice this is a double crossing. It appears there is M.O.W. equipment on the tracks in the distance. On the crossing closest to the camera only 1 gate is down.

That crossing from Eureka may hopefully come soon to the site in a few months. There has been talk of the last 2 years of getting that, and quite a few other double crossings around that area.

Check this one out:

Niagara Falls, Canada. Before you accuse the Google car of driving around the gates... there was a signal maintainer present, it appears he flagged them around. The signal that I pointed to looks quite odd with the crossbuck on the extension arm.

I didn't see any trains around. Looks like a malfunction to me.
