Knocked the gate off the crossing signal. The article doesn't mention it, but the word from officials is the car tried to go around the gates. I posted this link because there's pictures of the scene.

At least the gate didn't look damaged... The gate lights were still flashing according to the pictures shown on that site.

stupid is as stupid does
gate probable was re used the the gate lights are broke only the middle one still lights up and the frame is broken the rest dont work
the lights on the gates break so easily
the new reco/neg lights seem to hold up better but they still can and do break
