On Sunday I went by again and the new base on the south side is installed. The north side still hasn't been done. Plus I believe I found the new signals in Coal City! They have I think Harmon 12x24 LEDs, 2 GS e bells, and Safetran gate motors (which shocked me since they normally use US&S).

A bit weird for a new BNSF installation. Most new gates here on the BNSF in Arizona are US&S Model 95 gate motors.

Yeah, here too. Plus I've also noticed UP is doing the same thing! They are now putting Safetran gates on new installations as well and not WCH. Also they seem to have switched to GS bells now. IDK, it's weird. So basically now all Big 4 railroads are using Safetran as far as IL.

Even though one base was up last Sunday, the new signals are up and running! I got a video of it too that'll be on Youtube only for you guys. The video is pretty blurry, but you get the idea of what the crossing looks like. Also note the gates are the rectangle shape not the slant. First time seeing a BNSF crossing do that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jD_HW9l0zl4

Old Mazon Rd. in Mazon is now getting an upgrade as well. New bases are in place, however no relay case was seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHQ3fQMwt0U
