As much as I like locomotive horns, I favor quiet zones.
Wayside horns are ridiculous.

With (o)T(o) , gates and bells, they do not also need horns.

If a mishap, I'd sue the idiot who disregarded all those signals.

Well, we've seen for proof that wayside horns aren't perfect and to me there's nothing but extra crossing bells, but given the traffic on those streets, you'd think something more than bells is needed.
