HOLY COW!!! I had only seen gate mechanisms like that in old historic photos from 70-80+ years ago!!! Amazing find!

Although common on Metro tracks, wishbone gates are near impossible to find on V/line tracks (ironically, pretty much all RFR crossing upgrades in the mid 2000's used them). However, this crossing on Yarra Street in South Geelong still has them!

I still don't like what they did with the one across the road though by attaching a regular gate to the A-frame holder
