siill a shame all those mechanical bells that once served on the Jefferson city sub are now gone. Not sure how long the ones on the sedalia sub are gonna last. I still need to document the crossings in Independence and maybe post them onto the site at some point.

That sucks. I'm guessing that's what happened to the one at Kentucky rd. Least they replaced it with a wch type 4 e bell instead of an NEG e bell. Only 1 crossing in independence has an NEG e bell.

So far just one or two. Rock Hill Rd got it‘s 2nd m-bell replaced a few years ago, and an e-bell went up. I believe it‘s a GS type 2. Leffingwell Ave is the only one I know of. It‘s NEG bell went up on a new signal a few years ago.
