Went out to the Eagletree Ln. crossing today. To my surprise, all the equipment (not sure about the relay case) was made by MI.

The side lights are for L&N Drive.

These lights appear to be faded at the tops of the visors (or what ever the heck they're called).

This signal appears to have a gate light at the top of it.

Facing north. You can see Drake Ave. in the distance.

Facing south. You can see Airport Rd. in the distance.
They/Them for me, please.

Not bad.

Question though... why do all of your pictures seem cloudy? Is your lens dirty or is it just your camera?

And the gate light on top of the one signal is used by the train crew to indicate that the signals are operating.

Looks like he uses a flip camera to take video.

My flip camera can't take pictures. The pictures are taken with my vivtar camera. Due to the days getting shorter and the sun getting lower, the pictures don't come out aswell. :/

Get a JVC or Sony HD camcorder if you want good video and they take better pictures.
I wouldn't except these to be submitted to be posted on the main site.
Hell even most cell phones take better video and pictures then Vivtar and Flip cameras.
I know my Iphone 4S can out do both those cameras.

Okay, here is the reasons why I use the cameras I do.
Because I don't have a car, I use my bike to get to Most of the crossings I have taken pictures of. It is very hard to carry a camera that can't fit in my pocket while riding my bike (unless you know of a beter quality pocket camera).
I am also saving for a car. Once I have bought a car, I will save for and buy a better camera to use to take pictures and video.

And with that being said, I have some pictures of the Mountain Gap Rd. railroad crossing (Kohler Rd. and some abandoned crossings to come soon).

The traffic lights are no longer functional. The northbound signal (one on the right) has a broken lens.

Facing north. Meadobrook Dr. and a tornado siren are in the distance.

Facing south. Kohler Dr. (though hard to see :OhWell: ) is in the distance.
