Looks like a new installation. Check out the lights on the closest signal.

For a new crossing install, those tracks don't seem to be in the best of condition, especially to the west there.cabman701 wrote:Looks like a new installation. Check out the lights on the closest signal.![]()

Active crossing in St Louis MO...
In satellite view: http://www.google.com/maps?ll=38.688346 ... 3&t=h&z=21
And in Street View as well: https://www.google.com/maps?ll=38.68803 ... 89,,1,2.15. Here is the reason for the Street View activiation: http://www.google.com/maps?ll=38.688361 ... .2,,0,1.75. Notice the cone and what looks like a derailer on the left side track. The light in the distance on that side appears to be a MOW vehicle.

Looks like an LED light has been placed onto the wigwag. I wonder when that happened...cabman701 wrote:That's not too far from the somewhat famous Joplin wig wag: http://goo.gl/maps/GwV9Cfreebrickproductions wrote:Crossing with modern cantilevers but old EM gates:

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
All of those Downtown Tampa signals have GS e-bells. Some of them are painted black though. And pretty much from that crossing with the older equipment onward, there's a lot of older equipment such as old Safetrain bridge cantilevers, RACO bells, 8" lights, and some of the cantilevers are labeled to this day as SCL (Seaboard CoastLine)freebrickproductions wrote:Odd signals:

Also, those orange m-bells are all along drawbridges that cross the Hillsborough River through Tampa.
