Yes. Quite an excess of signals, if you ask me. CSX should’ve scrapped some gateless ones and just added sidelights. Again, just my opinion.
The 90s equipment it replaced was a bit simpler:

Looks like CN made an "error" while installing a new crossing, though i do not know if this old RACO from a late 50's/early 60's BLE cantilever is being reused.

The next crossing down has a US&S Teardrop bell from an ex-BLE crossing!

What's going over here?

Yeah NS i don't think they really need to be long.

Looks like it, but my real question was what was with all the construction vehicles, especially with that crane!
Wonder if these visors were repainted?

A sign with a bunch of poorly aligned letter T's (you should get the point of what i'm saying)
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.723854, ... 384!8i8192
Former train station platform?
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.7749118 ... 312!8i6656
Quite an odd signal for a SOU installation.
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.7764405 ... 312!8i6656
Damaged signal.
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.7772557 ... 312!8i6656
Yep, probably done by a trucker that has no regard for road signs.
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.7772647 ... 312!8i6656
Come on now! This is getting ridiculous.
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.7783627 ... 312!8i6656
1970's SOU installation, generally classic except for the cantilever lights being a pair of Safetran 12x20's.
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.8308865 ... 312!8i6656
What's with the white around most of this stop sign?
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.8581622 ... 312!8i6656
Late 60's/early 70's SOU installation, the mast lights are missing but there are holes so i assume they were there unless they were presumably never installed.
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.8618003 ... 384!8i8192
One signal wonder.
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.865074, ... 384!8i8192
Also caught in action.
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.8652951 ... 312!8i6656
The crossing across the street is also caught active.

Now when i think of it, there is a bridge nearby, which probably explains the use for the crane.

Yeah. Too bad we can't get a view of the work from the other side.

That's an 80s NS install. Still an unusual signal though.

Active crossing in Mobile, AL:
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.6929223 ... 384!8i8192
It's on the site as well, though this signal has lost its WCH bell since the page was last updated:
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.6930234 ... 384!8i8192
Also, given the fact that the old L&N signal at the diamond with CN was replaced entirely, this means no more mechanical bells on the CSX NO&M Subdivision in Mobile...
