February Photo Of The Month

Post by Smjh1979 »

I talked this over with Crossingman18, and he decided to go with it, so here's my decision on this month's Photo of the Month...

Anything signal related can be posted, as long as the signals are active. Signals lit will qualify. In between shots where you can't see any lights such as dimmed lights, or the slight moments with LEDs where you don't see anything between shots are not accepted either.

Front signal shots are the best to get. Side views where the light is partially obstructed may not get too many votes.

Also, due to the process of elimination, crossbuck-only crossings don't qualify this month either.

Now come up with some good activation shots! This should be an easy one for many people to do.

I snuck this one in as a preview, but I'll post it here: Eastbound through Tehachapi after meeting a Westbound (on track behind) in the snow.

MLGillson wins this month, with 3 votes.

2nd goes to Bill (gedunk) with 2 votes.

3rd goes to IllinoisTrains with 1 vote...

And I come in dead last with not one vote... :Awww:

Both the Photo of the Month and Train Photo of the Month are going to go into a hiatus for a while due to very little activity going on, and no one maintaining it but me, which I didn't want to do in the first place.

EDIT: The Photo and Train Photo of the months are coming back.

:Closed3:
