I was 5 when these were taken,Mike,you were 6.The crossing with the gates is Alabama Street in Pine Bluff,AR.The signals had not been too long installed.The signals now have LEDs.

Pretty good for a new installation. Interesting to see the 7" gate lights there. Those didn't make it to our area until the 1990s.
