The gate motor on that pedestrian gate looks like what is/was out at Old River Road

But anyway, those are some nice triangle signals, and that track looks like it is used quite frequently based on the condition.
I did some exploring in that area... that same track takes a huge loop just south of these crossings... check it out below. I traced a red line as best I could with my mouse to make it stand out a little better.

That's Dunsmuir grade; quite a pull too judging from the switchbacks. Pretty area too.
