Apparently randomly placed cantilevers with gates

Post by AndyWS »

CN thought process: "This is a narrow country lane crossing in the middle of nowhere, Wisconsin on a branch line that gets 4 trains per day and happens to have the last operating set of Soo Line MSCo wigwags in the state. What should we upgrade the crossing to?

(Puts on blindfold and points finger at Safetran catalog) "Oh, crap. Well, procedures are procedures."

Overkill.....

Gateless signals would've worked fine there.
