More bad news from Granite City, IL

* The Pontoon Road overpass has opened. As of 12/21/2010 the signals for the temporary road were still in place

* The 22nd Street NS crossing has been closed. As of 12/21/2010 the signals are still up and working, but the roadway at the crossing has been ripped out. Although this crossing was frequently blocked for long periods, its closure does make it harder to get around Granite City.

Does that include the gated crossing about a block up from the gateless crossing?

The four track crossing on 22nd Street between Century Drive and Adams Street was definitely still open.

I haven't heard anything about the crossing further north on 25th Street being closed, but I haven't checked that one in a while.
