I got my WCH 3590 attached to the mast this week. It was a beast to move. Fiberglass/Aluminum arm is on as well.
My question is about my power source. My small 12 volt 3 amp power supply won't cut it. I wanted to know if anyone knows how many amps I should be looking for in a new 12 volt regulated power supply? This is just the first step in setting up the power as I will add the relays to make it operate correctly as I move foreward with this project.
Also would a 12 volt battery and a charger be another way to go as far as the power supply? Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might offer.

You would need at least 20 to 25 amps to be safe, as the mechanism will pull some juice. I recommend the 12 volt battery and charger option, as this is what I used in my setup for the longest time.
Thanks Rich - I sure appreciate your advice. I bet I have watched your Youtube videos 100 times. Seeing your setup is very helpfull in understanding how these mechanisms operate.
