What type of railroad's NEWER installations do you like? If you want some examples, then I will post them here. (Some may be other people's from the website)

UP:

Shortline for me, because at least the one I see around me, they only replace what they need to, and still leave the rest of the stuff there. Hence we have crossings with brand new LED lights, but still an M bell, ect.

I won't be voting in this poll because there is no need for newer installations. Just reuse the ones that have been removed.

I'm with Mafarns.

All the new stuff reminds me of a Pruis. All the same except for a few barely noticable options.

I would like to thank the person who added CN, CP, and KCS to the poll. I must have forgotten those.

I will choose BNSF because for every one BNSF mainline here, there are three UP mainlines. I am just sick of seeing new UP setups.

IDK if this is shortline or "other" (I chose "other"), but I like Pan Am/Guilford. Lots of 8" signals and a lot of them have the bells ring only while the gate goes down and up, which I always thought was neat (although proven to be hazardous).

A shortline is a RR company that runs over a relatively short distance.

What's your definition of a relatively short distance?
