New signals in Ruskin, FL

This signal went from pretty big cantilevers to mast signals....

Before:

YAH 4 gates are much better then 2 long ones
reason is shorter gates are 1 easier to replace and number 2 if attached to spring gaurds they can usually save short gates where as long gates snap in half as fiberglass is not very strong.

The shorter gates makes sense. But why couldn't they have done that and also kept the cantilevers? :Curse1:

Unless they recycled them? (Doubtful)

I disagree with the removal of the cantilevers. This is a major highway and it needs them.

I would've left the cantilevers on place, shortened the right gates, and installed new gated signals in the median.
