Pretty neat find... however the cantilever only has lights in 3 directions.

It's too bad they couldn't have put an elongated gate on the cantilever instead of placing the one gated signal back to where it restricts right turns... especially since they designed a designated right turn area that is away from the tracks anyway.

Wonder how many people have gone around that gate when it is down so they can turn right?

I got stuck in the middle of a messed up double crossing once in mobile al
http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&layer=c ... 54932&z=15
I parked in between the main line and spur to mcduff a coal train went by on the spur activated all four signals and the two gates.
The coal train was going so slow I gave up and left but i had to go around the gate without the bell to leave
I wish csx could set up the crossing right I knew a dump truck driver that got killed by a train down there

Yup. Along with the pickup truck in front of him.

Actually I'm assuming both the pickup and the StreetView car turned left onto that side road. But none-the-less... they both went around a lowered gate with a train approaching.
