Milwaukee Road 261 from back in the day

Can't have signals without railroads, so talk about your favorite locomotives, railroads and any other (non signal) railroad related stuff.

Milwaukee Road 261 from back in the day

Post by AndyWS »

All the track and crossings shown in the Oshkosh segment no longer exist. Elsewhere, all 8" lights and mechanical bells (as well as the wigwags at Van Dyne) are gone, upgraded by WC and later CN.

Soo Line was the only installer of MSCo wigwags in Wisconsin. All other railroads used WRRS exclusively. The last set, on the Minneapolis Subdivision near Eidsvold and Thorp, was replaced by CN around 2005.
