Accident on CN line in Waukesha, WI.

Post by SantaFebuff »

Pedestrian apparently was struck and killed by a CN train at a crossing in Waukesha, WI. The video does decent justice for the Safetran setup on the crossing.

The sound of dual GS type 2s echo.

Cheers,
Joshua

Those Safetran/GS setups are very common since CN used them to kill off almost every classic crossing signal on the former WC.

Same here on the ex-Illinois Central lines. Personally, I don't mind it too much, yet again, that's not my only railroad line around town. So, I'm not stuck with nothing but Safetran/GS setups. I can see GE/Harmon, WRRS, Wabco, and all sorts of things if I look around a bit.

Cheers,
Joshua

Only thing I hate is that piece of crap on top of the signal, put up a hybrid bell instead.
also is that crossing a quiet zone?

I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.

At least you did not say WCH electronic. :LOL3: I think it may be a quiet zone, because around the midwest is where quiet zones are popping up left and right.
