They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Ben Franklin
People who need a foot up their Ass affect the lives of many. There is still no cure for someone who needs a foot up their Ass, except a foot up their Ass
I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.

I call them square because of the part that the gate is on on the mast is like a square,my friend calls them square gates also.I don't see crossings like that around Pine Bluff except the one at a paper mill.

The gate arm is rectangle shaped, just like any other standard gate arm in the US. The rear cover of the mechanism is square, but that's pretty normal also. The counterweight support arms are triangle shaped, and aren't very common. The only "square" thing I see in the pic other than the rear cover is the counterweights.
Just the facts, ma'am.

That's what I meant,I know those counterweight supports are not common, but that's all I know that crossing for, that counterweight support,my friend calls them square gates,I know what he's referring to.

We understand, you have a friend. Congradulations to you. Apparently he is geometrically challenged also. Congradulations to him as well. I understand how y'all get can along.

However, the gate is not square. Neither are the counterweight support arms. ...Seriously.

You should inform your friend.
Just the facts, ma'am.
