Noisy little bells, aren't they...
No wonder why Elton wants them shut off. I can see where they'd drive you crazy after 30 seconds.

Yeah, those WABCO bells are very loud...but I have to tell you...I could listen to those for a while and It wouldn't annoy me at all, since they sound so good...Smjh1979 wrote:Noisy little bells, aren't they...

Bell is activated when the X relay is dropped (as in, the detection circuit senses a train is coming) and also when the gate is anywhere but horizontal (Down). -Has to be both. Thats why they don't ring going back up.
Anyway, Owens, looks different seeing it from your camera.
I am glad you got these, pretty neat. ...And it proves I do actually do some work!

I figured out which configurations produce the other three bell patterns:ER801 wrote:Bell is activated when the X relay is dropped (as in, the detection circuit senses a train is coming) and also when the gate is anywhere but horizontal (Down).
Bell isn't wired through X relay or gate motor:
Bell sounds continuously.
Wired through X relay only:
Bell sounds from startup to just before gates rise.
Wired through gate motor only:
Bell(s) sounds when gate(s) are in motion.

Re: owensri's Crossing Videos
A bit ironic hearing a train horn while making those signals go off.
