Southern Pacific abandoned 85 Miles of track in 1986.

Pretty neat that the satellite images show the new tracks, but StreetView (mostly) isn't updated. I like that last link too that shows the new tracks being installed.

Wonder why they didn't re-use some of the old equipment? :Tongue1:

At least they didn't pu in LAMEside horns. But that was sad when i saw a shot on Maps in 2008.
