Railroad crossing signal questions

Post by 0333 »

1. When did Hawker Siddeley and Safetran have a partnership and what did they make?
2. When did Harmon make gate mechanisms?
3. Did Griswold ever sell the hydraulic gate mechanisms?
4. When did Wabco logos start appearing on railroad crossing signals?
5. When did Safetran discontinue the EM gate mechanism?
6. Who makes the gongs for WCH m bells?
7. Did MI make ever a gate mechanismall?

I do realize most of these question talk about gate mechanisms.

1. Safetran had been owned by Hawker Siddeley by about 40%. Or the other way around. They made 12" Housings for lights. Actually used to have one in my signal collection.
7. No.
