Signal on the left: 1 pair of RACO 8 inch lights and 1 pair of Harmon 8 inch lights, one of which is incandescent and the other has some kind of 8 inch LED.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of RACO 8 inch lights.
The bell is a Safetran mechanical bell mounted on the relay case, like the one over at Lily Flagg Road. Both signals also have some flood lights on top of them that turn on when the crossing activates to light up the trains better at night.
They/Them for me, please.

Random "huh" here.
I looked up this crossing on StreetView and noticed... there's a mailbox next to the control cabinet.
Wonder what this gets used for. Or perhaps the maintainer just has his mail delivered here. :glare:
Well, :Censored:

I noticed it when I was there in 2013. No idea what it's used for though.

Interesting concept with the flood lights. I've seen crossings out in rural areas that have a streetlight aimed towards the crossing, but never a light (or lights) that only activates with the signals. Obviously quite a lot of switching going on there which means stopped trains. I wonder if some idiot smashed into one?

BUMP Sorry

Anyways, don't the floodlights remind anyone of GTA V in any way?

Do the flood lights only come on at night now, or where they just not visible in the video?

Probably just not visible in the video, as I believe they had come on.

Honestly, the mailbox could be used for anything. However, it is none of our business to dare peak inside, nor ask.

Although it is a federal offense to use a US Mail mailbox for something other than official postage.
