Got another video today, showing the upgrades to the crossing:

The signal on the left now has all WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs in them and a WCH mechanical bell, while the signal on the right now has RECO LED gate lights.

Wow, interesting how the gates aren't down the whole way yet the bells stop ringing before they finish lowering!

*originally recorded on 2-13-21*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, a US&S Teardrop Bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After we rang (and swapped) our bells, we went back into our respective cars due to just how cold it was to wait and see if anything was coming. Luckily after not even 10 minutes of waiting, I looked-up and saw what I believe was Q532 approaching, as I saw a crossing down in the distance activate. As such, we got set-up and were able to record this mixed freight as it crawled its way west through Nashville with an ES44AH leading and an ET44AH working as the mid-train DPU.

As you can see, and probably have already seen in Ethan's last video here, this crossing has since had the lights on the closer cantilever upgraded to 12x24 inch LEDs. Interestingly enough, the light-heads here are older WCH ones, which I believe were re-used from 7th Avenue & Fogg Street as that crossing had a pair of older WCH 12x24s prior to being closed. The WCH gate mechanism on the closer cantilever was also replaced with a Siemens one, which probably ain't too surprising to see either.
Thankfully, nothing else major has changed here, and the US&S Teardrop Bell still rings on quite well. Also, thankfully due to the cloudy weather (and the Westrock plant next to the crossing being closed while we were here), I was able to set-up next to the cantilever with the Teardrop, getting some better audio of this bell.
