Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and a WCH mechanical bell.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran 8 inch light, and a RACO 8 inch light.

This is a rather cool crossing here, as it has all three varieties of lights and equipment from three different manufacturers. I missed the start-up of the crossing due to 325 sneaking up on me. Ah well, it'll just go onto my "re-video later" list.

*originally recorded on 8-1-18*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and a WCH mechanical bell.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and 1 pair of Safetran 12x20 inch lights.

The main update here since I last recorded this crossing was that the right-hand signal was replaced. I'm honestly not sure why, but I'm guessing that due to how the 8 inch lights on it were positioned, NS didn't think that they'd be able to put 12 inch lights where the 8 inch lights were on the old signal. Interestingly enough, the "new" signal was re-used from Jackson Street in Courtland, AL and still features the 2 pairs of 1970s Safetran 12x24 inch lights on it. The 12x20 inch side lights on the signal appear to have been re-used from the previous signal. An AL 65 shield can be seen in the background as well.

Got my last video of the old signals here on 7-14-23:

If you look closely at the bell-less signal, you can see a new foundation already in place for the new gated signals this crossing was about to receive. By the time I got back out here four days later, the closer signal was already replaced.
They/Them for me, please.
