Signal on the left: 1 pair of RACO 8 inch lights, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 1 pair of RACO 8 inch lights, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
This crossing is a rather nice one. It has a pair of RACO cantilevers with the original 8 inch lights on the mast. It would've also likely originally had RACO gate mechanisms and RACO 12x20 inch overhead lights, along with a RACO mechanical bell. However, a lot of this stuff was replaced with Safetran equipment. Though the overhead lights are older Safetran 12x24 inch lights! Also, one of the mast lights on the side I was on had a blown bulb.
They/Them for me, please.

Re: Park Avenue, Lindale, GA
Was able to gate a recording here from the other side on 5-21-21 with no major changes to report here:
Also, I now know that these signals are actually an early-70s SOU install, and all of the equipment here, outside of the gate mechs, gate arms, and gate lights, is pretty much entirely original. The 1st Gen Safetran bell here sounds noticeably better too when the gates rise, actually being able to ring for more than for about a second once the gates have gotten all the way up like it did in my previous video here.

Re: Park Avenue, Lindale, GA
*originally recorded on 5-21-23*
Signal on the left: 1 pair of RACO 8 inch lights, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO(?) LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 1 pair of RACO 8 inch lights, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG(?) LED gate lights.
After catching the southbound mixed freight, I went back up to Lindale to meet-up with my friend DeeDeeTeeArts to do some railfanning with him. While there, I was able to get my third train of the day: an NS 284 that had been following close behind with a BNSF ES44DC leading a BNSF Dash-9 for power.
As you can see, no major changes have occurred to this classic crossing since I last recorded it, thankfully. However, over the past few years, NS has upgraded the gate lights here to LED, though I didn't initially notice (and, as such, ain't documented said upgrades). The first actually happened prior to my trip two years before this video, with the closer signal having its gate lights upgraded, though more recently NS has upgraded the gate lights on the signal with the bell to LED. I don't entirely know what brand(s) these gate lights are, so I listed my best guess.
The early-70s SOU cantilevers still remain entirely unchanged, however, so I'm glad to see that.
