Accident number 16 for this crossing.

According to some of the comments I read, the driver is deaf. Makes me wonder why the driver didn't see the flashing lights or train. There's other comments, some more absurd than others.
Judging by the photo and the geography, the train was traveling North, the suv West.

I am wondering, if this is accident number 16, WHY doesn't CN come and add some gates and a 2nd pair of lights for the cantilevers?!

According to this article, the driver was partially stopped on the tracks. Not surprising, I usually see someone stopped on the tracks while waiting at a red light at that location.
