Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a Safetran Type-3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

This crossing had the 8 inch mast lights replaced and the lights upgraded to LED around the same time as the Main Street crossing, which appears to be around when the Easterwood Street crossing got signals. Also, if you look closely, the gate on the right doesn't lower all the way. Oops!

Went back out here recently and discovered a rather impressive change:

*originally recorded on 3-21-18*

Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a RACO mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

There had been a few changes to the crossings on this part of the Memphis West, which is why I wanted to come out here, and to this crossing especially. I had seen in some recent photos on the NS North Alabama Facebook group that the Safetran Type 3 e-bell at this crossing had been replaced with a mechanical bell, but I was expecting a WCH mechanical bell. Much to my surprised, however, when I got out here I found out that the "new" bell was actually a RACO mechanical bell! Other than that, the crossing hasn't changed much since I was last out here.
