Light Rail/Metro Crossings

I'm a bad camera man, but enjoy.

"Los Angeles Metro Gold Line @ Meridian Ave/Mission Street in S. Pasadena, California" - 2 parts. This line has 3 4-way crossings, and 1 3-way crossing. It street runs in mostly in East LA with a subway portion in the middle, and also street runs in Highland Park, Ca. The line also travels down the center of the I-210 in Pasadena. The Union Station - Azusa portion is on the former Amtrak Southwest Chief route. The RoW between Irwindale and Azusa is a 3 track RoW. The 3rd track is for BNSF Santa Fe Dam freight trains. The 1st 4-way crossing is these videos. The 2nd one is the next 2 crossings north, and the final one is in Arcadia, Ca. The 3-way crossing is on the other side of this station.

You could always use a tripod if you intend on railfanning while staying put.

Also, sounds like wayside horns at the beginning of the second video there.

All of our LRVs has those quacker horns. From the oldest (Nippon Sharyo P865) to the newest (Kinkisharyo P3010).

As far a steadying the phone for video... I have always found it helpful to sit (if possible)... or even just leaning against something (a railing or a wall for instance) can help steady yourself some. Holding it with both hands can help as well... just be careful not to block the lens with your finger.
