Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
This crossing is fairly nice, especially with the old L&N install. However, none of the equipment here is original, including the MI lights! It seems that sometime in the late 1980s/early 1990s, CSX went through and replaced a lot of the 8 inch lights along their mainlines in the southeast with newer (3rd Generation "Harmon-style") Modern Industries lights, though it appears that around the same time, the right-hand signal had the main lights replaced with Safetran 12x24 inch lights. The right-hand signal also retained the 8 inch side lights on it until it got an LED upgrade around 2013-ish, which is rather cool, IMO. This crossing also has a nice mixture of equipment at it as well.
They/Them for me, please.

After I caught M521, I saw that the signal at South End Holt's Corner had upgraded to a restricting for another southbound, so I decided to head on south to this crossing, mainly to see if there were any upgrades here and maybe get a newer video of it. When I got here, I saw the signal at South End Lewisburg was showing a clear for a northbound, so I set on up here and waited. After a little bit of waiting, this CSX I140 (IIRC) came through with a trio of ES40DCs for power.
As you can see, very little has changed to this crossing since I last recorded it. In fact, the only noteworthy change here was to the tip gate light on the closer signal, which was replaced with an NEG LED gate light. Otherwise, there have thankfully been no changes to these old L&N double mast signals here, which I'm glad to see. In fact, I believe this is one of the last two installs of this type on the S&NA North in Tennessee, since the pair in Cornersville were replaced. Funnily enough, both of these remaining L&N double mast installs feature newer MI 12x24 inch lights at them.
I'm also glad I got to film on the side with the MI lights this time around, there ain't many of them along the S&NA North.
